Drummer, composer and producer from Rouen, France, Alexis Damien explores the boundaries of experimental metal and cinematic music. He is the drummer and composer of No Terror in the Bang.
Drummer, composer and producer from Rouen, France, Alexis Damien has developed a distinctive musical identity at the crossroads of experimental metal and cinematic music. For him, drums are far more than a rhythmic instrument: they play an essential role in composition, emotion and musical storytelling.
Holding a Master’s degree in Composition, a French Diploma in Contemporary Music (DEM), and an award in jazz drumming, Alexis has forged an unconventional musical path through bands pushing the boundaries of extreme music, including Pin-Up Went Down, Void Paradigm and Carnival in Coal.
Today, he is the drummer and composer of No Terror in the Bang, a cinematic metal band from Rouen. Within the band, he creates music that blends massive riffs, orchestral arrangements, electronic textures and cinematic atmospheres.
Alongside his work as a musician, Alexis composes for visual media and production music, collaborating with several French and international music publishers. He also serves as Contemporary Music Coordinator at the Grand-Couronne Conservatory in Normandy, France.
