Franck RIDACKER
ASBA artist – The Voice
Over the decades, Franck Ridacker has become a key sideman on the French-speaking music scene. Thanks to his versatility, groove, and precision, he is now recognized as one of the most experienced and reliable drummers of his generation.
An eclectic and seasoned musician, Franck Ridacker has established himself for over three decades as a key figure in the French music scene. Trained at the Dante Agostini School from 1976 to 1981, then at the Orléans Jazz Academy, he quickly multiplied experiences within regional bands, exploring the worlds of jazz, rock, and pop music.
After completing his national service in 1989–1990, he joined Eric Bouvelle’s orchestra until 1992, before launching a prolific sideman career that led him to collaborate both on stage and in the studio with an impressive list of French-speaking artists.
From Jacques Higelin to Indochine, including Nicolas Peyrac, Thomas Fersen, Jeanne Mas, Dick Rivers, and Michaël Gregorio, Franck Ridacker has brought his playing to a wide range of musical worlds, combining technical precision, a deep sense of groove, and a remarkable adaptability.
His versatility has also made him a sought-after musician for major productions such as “The Voice” tours, 500 Voices for Queen, or 500 Voices for the Greatest French Songs.
“I’ve played all kinds of drums in every imaginable setting. With ASBA, I finally found what I had been searching for: a sound that is warm, precise, and vibrant—fully at the service of music.”
Franck Ridacker currently plays on an ASBA Metal kit, featuring a Metal snare and the exclusive Top-Lug system for stable tuning, powerful projection, and optimal playing comfort. He particularly values the precise attack, natural warmth of the tone, and the handcrafted quality that has made the brand famous.
A trusted musician, always serving the music and the artists he supports, Franck Ridacker continues to enrich the music scene with his talent—driven by the same passion as when he first began.
