Owen CUMMINS

ASBA artist – Treaks

Owen Cummins is the French-Irish drummer of Treaks. With a powerful, precise, and energetic playing style, he blends electronic and acoustic influences to create a bold, modern Noise / Dance-Punk sound.

French-Irish drummer based in Nantes, Owen Cummins represents a new generation of musicians for whom technique, commitment, and stage energy are inseparable. As the drummer for Treaks, he has developed a distinctive musical identity where electronic textures blend seamlessly with the power of acoustic drums, creating a unique Noise / Dance-Punk sound.

For nearly ten years, Owen has been touring with Treaks, earning recognition for his precision, intensity, and total commitment behind the kit. His energetic and expressive playing is a key part of the band’s powerful identity.

To bring his sound to life on stage, Owen has chosen an ASBA setup featuring a Simone drum kit (22”, 12”, 16”) along with two snare drums: a 14” × 8” Custom Spruce snare, delivering warmth and depth, and a 14” × 6.5” Metal snare, providing a sharp, cutting attack. This combination gives him a wide sonic palette perfectly suited to his musical universe.

Beyond the instruments themselves, Owen found in ASBA a passionate and dedicated team committed to exceptional craftsmanship. These shared values have made this partnership a natural fit.
