Quentin RICHÉ
ASBA artist – Faith in Agony
Quentin Riché is a curious and committed musician whose intense stage presence cuts across genres with ease. From metal to jazz, including rock and fusion, he puts his drumming at the service of music in all its forms, with ever-renewed energy and sensitivity.
A true child of the 90s, Quentin Riché discovered drums at the age of 8. Self-taught, he learned by ear through pop and rock from the 2000s, and joined his first band at just 12. Since then, he’s never stopped playing, multiplying gigs and projects across a wide range of genres: funk, folk, pop, reggae, rock and metal.
His professional journey took shape later, with two demanding training programs: the Lajudie Center (jazz, fusion, Latin) and the Music Academy International, from which he graduated with honors. These experiences expanded his musical vocabulary and strengthened his versatility.
A founding member of Faith In Agony (2016), he is one of the driving rhythmic forces behind this mixed-gender quartet. It was during the recording of the band’s second album at Studio Artmusic that the connection with ASBA was made — a human and sonic encounter that led to the creation of a custom drum kit, designed specifically for the project and unique in its configuration.
« I hesitated at first… But after meeting this passionate and open-minded team, it all made sense. Today, I’m proud to play this dream kit, both stunning and powerful. »
