Xavier ZEMB
ASBA artist – Claudio Capéo
Xavier Zemb is a French drummer known for his powerful rock approach, solid groove, and unwavering commitment to serving the music. Trained at Sonor School and graduated from MAI Nancy, he has been performing alongside Claudio Capéo since 2008, sharing stages across major French arenas and festivals while combining energy, precision, and musical sensitivity.
On stage and in the studio, Xavier Zemb delivers a drumming style that is both powerful, rock-driven, and deeply rooted in groove. Equally capable of explosive energy and refined subtlety, he always places the music at the heart of his approach. His primary mission remains unchanged: to be a reliable rhythmic foundation, fully committed to the artists and projects he supports.
His passion for drumming began at the age of 8, but the real turning point came during his teenage years with the discovery of Nirvana and the playing style of Dave Grohl. A major influence that profoundly shaped his identity behind the kit.
Trained at the Sonor School in Mulhouse and later graduating from the professional program at MAI Nancy in 2007, Xavier built strong technical foundations inspired by metal while maintaining a genuine curiosity for a wide range of musical styles.
In 2008, he began a long-standing musical journey alongside his childhood friend, Claudio Capéo. Since the breakthrough success of Un homme debout in 2016, he has shared this human and musical adventure on the stages of major arenas and festivals across France, always driven by the same passion: performing, connecting, and serving the music.
“My Simone is that rare balance between power and finesse. It responds to every nuance of my playing while keeping that raw character that makes you want to play harder and push further.”
