Some metal drum kits are built to impress with sheer volume. The METAL is built to impress through control.
Designed by Jean-Marc, better known as “Le 12,” the METAL was born from a simple ambition: to create a drum kit that delivers all the power of steel without ever compromising precision, control, or musicality.
Each shell is laser-cut in the Forez region of France, shaped using our exclusive FoldEdge™ technology, then finished with an epoxy powder coating sourced from the same region. Every drum is then carefully assembled, tuned, inspected, and hand-signed in our workshop in Lyon.
This exclusive shell-edge geometry, developed by ASBA, naturally reinforces the shell, eliminates sharp edges, and contributes to the instrument’s exceptional tonal balance. The result is a remarkably precise drum kit, with a crisp attack, tightly controlled overtones, and outstanding projection.
The METAL was never designed to be the loudest drum kit in the room. It was designed to let the drummer’s voice come through with clarity, power, and confidence.
