Caroline Pedal
Do you know what Michael Jackson’s BAD album has in common with Jimi Hendrix’s drummer Mitch Mitchell?
The Caroline, one of the most famous bass drum pedals in drum history! Invented by ASBA in 1965, reissued in 2022. The Caroline pedal is closely linked to Daniel Humair, the great international jazz player. It was he who created the famous Caroline pedal in the 60s, which became a worldwide success (the name pays tribute to his daughter).
In just a few months, it conquered the world of drums. Sold under Ludwig license in the USA, it conquered the hearts of the world’s greatest drummers… The pedal was sold all over the world and became a benchmark in terms of speed, precision, playing comfort and settings.
