L'ENCLUME
Massive metal snare drums have that little something that other snare drums don't: an attack, a body, a chest that can be recognized at the first rimshot, and which puts them in a class of their own.
ASBA's new creation is a tribute to the tradition of these legendary snare drums. Called L'Enclume, it was forged in Forez using 3 mm thick steel. This snare drum has benefited from all the know-how of cutting-edge industry, as well as the meticulousness and passion of ASBA's meticulous and passionate craftsmen.
Produced in partnership with Nicolas Muller, of the French Grip Channel YouTube channel, it meets the needs of a drummer who wants a monster of power for big festivals, a sharp blade for studio sessions, but also a graceful dancer for quieter moments.
Extreme yet versatile, and far more refined than its name suggests, L'Enclume embraces its heritage. But there's more to L'Enclume than the rifle shot it delivers when hammered.
